Felicia, the founder of Think Learn Try Consulting (T.L.T Consulting), was inspired to create the company after moving to London in 2019. Like many who relocate abroad, she quickly realised how much there is to adapt to — from everyday essentials such as food and transportation, to navigating a completely different lifestyle and diverse culture in a busy metropolitan city.
Simple tasks like finding accommodation, purchasing a local SIM card, opening a bank account, or understanding public transport can feel surprisingly complex when you’re new to the environment.
And that’s before even starting the job search. When Felicia began looking for work in her new city, she experienced firsthand just how competitive the job market can be — especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Many professionals had lost their jobs and struggled to find new opportunities, while some accepted positions below their previous levels. At the same time, graduates found it increasingly difficult to secure entry-level roles as they were competing with more experienced candidates.
With these experiences in mind, T.L.T Consulting was created to support individuals at every stage of their study and career journey — from international students adjusting to a new country, to graduates taking their first steps into the workforce, and early- to mid-career professionals seeking growth, change, or a new direction.
Moving to a new country for your studies can be exciting—but also stressful.
